China's bear market attracts local investors seeking safetyChina's stock market slumped into the second bear market in nine months this week. Although, such lower levels have attracted fresh investment from the local investors. The stock market is the best choice for the moment,” said Pan, a 27-year-old Shanghai accountant. “Even the bank staff advised me against depositing more money”. The high volatility zone continued in the market as some stock climbed and others touched a new low.

First on the list of gainers was China Armco Metals (CNAM). The stock closed at $5.62 gaining more than 17%.The stock has a resistance at $9 and finds a support level around $2. The company through its subsidiaries, imports, sells, & distributes metal ores & non-ferrous metals to the metal refinery industry in China.

The second on the gainer's list was China Biologic Products (CBPO). The stock gained 15% on Wednesday before closing at $13.99. The stock is expected to show some resistance at the same levels and holds a support around $4. China Biologic Products, is a bio pharmaceutical company, engaging in the research, development, production, and manufacture of plasma-based pharmaceutical products in China.

The third gainer of the day was Asia Cork (AKRK). The stock gained almost 11% before closing at $0.48. The stock has a resistance level of 0.70 going upwards and a support level around $0.10 .

Another stock that ended in green was China Shandong Industries (CSNH). The intra day gain of the stock was $0.26 with a closing at $2.56. The company is a producer and global marketer of straw-wicker products, wooden crafts and solid wooden furniture.

Universal travel group (UTA) also gained some momentum showing a gain of 9.96%. The stock closed at $9.16.

The day trade also saw some massive losers. The first on the list was Baidu (BIDU). The stock crashed badly losing almost 90% before closing at $74. 21. The previous closing of the stock was $714.17. The company provides Chinese and Japanese language Internet search services.

Another loser of the day was Synutra International (SYUT). The stock lost almost 8% and closed at $24.42. The stock has a strong support around $8. Synutra International through its subsidiaries, engages in the production, processing, packaging, marketing, and sale of dairy based nutritional products primarily in China.

Acorn International (ATV) also ended in red. The stock lost 7.27% before closing at $4.40. The company operates as an integrated multi-platform marketing company that develops, promotes, and sells consumer products and services in China. The stock holds a strong support around $3.

American Oriental Bioengineering (AOB) and China Housing and Land Development (CHLN) also lost almost 4% in the trading session closing at $3.40 and $ 3.22 respectively. While the former is expected to show some support at $2, the latter finds a support level around $1.
